History
Applinet was established in 1999 and began as an application provider and developer. The company was co-founded by Darren Boyce, Managing Director and Donald Kerr, Chairman. Darren and Donald identified a clear business opportunity to introduce a company which not only provided a variety and high quality of applications, but also built a reputation on trust, loyalty and dedication to customers - values which continue to drive our business forward.
Both the company and the market in which we operate have rapidly evolved, with the inception of new technologies and the increase in competitive activity. Today, Applinet plc is a true end-to-end converged solutions provider. The solutions we provide unite voice and data network infrastructures with business critical applications such as security, mobility, wireless, remote access and multimedia. With a wealth of services being provided by in-house resources, Applinet are ideally positioned in the converged solutions space and have the necessary skills and direction to maximise the service offerings to clients.
Applinet are also extremely proud to be a highly accredited Gold Nortel partner and believe that the strength of our relationship, spanning many years, enables us to offer best-of-breed, industry leading technologies to customers in the UK across a multitude of sectors. Partnerships with additional companies such as Symantec, Microsoft, Black Spider, ADC Krone and Citrix (amongst others) support a growing portfolio of offerings to ensure that customers benefit from the highest levels of quality, scalability, flexibility and cost effectiveness.
Applinet plc employs approximately 45 members of staff consisting of highly skilled, experienced and knowledgeable personnel. Today, the company is run by our Chairman and Board of Directors, all of whom have extensive experience within the industry and in holding senior managerial positions for a number of high profile companies in the ICT market.
