What is it?

Co-Location means the provision of space for a client's communications equipment on a supplier's premises. The supplier provides a range of facilities including secured cages or cabinets, regulated power, dedicated Internet connection, a rigorously controlled physical environment (humidity, ventilation and air-conditioning), security and support. All these contribute to creating a secure place for clients to physically house their hardware and equipment, where the risk of fire, theft or vandalism is very low.
